Confirm store data, ecommerce ownership, and operational settings before launch day.

  • Source store, destination store, primary domain, markets, and launch scope are confirmed.
  • Final approver and ecommerce operations owner are named.
  • Shopify owner, staff permissions, partner access, and agency access path are confirmed.
  • Products, variants, SKUs, images, collections, navigation, and filters are spot-checked.
  • Customer data, order history, consent, and privacy expectations are approved.
  • Redirect map covers products, collections, pages, blogs, and high-traffic URLs.
  • Payments, shipping, taxes, duties, markets, discounts, and gift cards are reviewed.
  • Apps, app billing, pixels, analytics, email marketing, and consent behavior are confirmed.

Launch-day Shopify cutover

  • Source-store changes are frozen or final deltas are recorded.
  • Final product, collection, customer, page, and blog sync runs if needed.
  • Live theme, checkout branding, app embeds, and production settings are verified.
  • Test mode is disabled only after payment settings and timing are approved.
  • A realistic test order confirms payment, tax, shipping, discount, and notification behavior.
  • DNS, SSL, primary domain, and redirects from the old store are verified.
  • Search, filters, cart, checkout, accounts, forms, and newsletter signup are tested.
  • Client approves launch or records the exact blocker stopping public release.
Section 03

Post-launch Shopify monitoring

  • Orders, failed payments, abandoned checkouts, refunds, and fraud queues are monitored.
  • Fulfillment, shipping labels, pickup, delivery, tax, and notifications are checked with real orders.
  • Analytics revenue, purchase events, checkout steps, and attribution are reviewed.
  • Search Console, sitemaps, indexed URLs, crawl errors, and missing redirects are reviewed.
  • Email, product feeds, marketplace, affiliate, and social commerce integrations are confirmed.
  • Temporary migration apps and launch-only users are removed if no longer needed.
  • Accepted exceptions, merchandising follow-up, and SEO follow-up have owners.
  • Migration checklist, redirect decisions, approval, and rollback notes are archived.
